WWE has confirmed another match for CM Punk.
Recently, it was reported that Punk will face Gunther inside a Steel Cage during the promotion’s Holiday Tour. While that match has not yet been made official, it has now been confirmed that the Straight Edge Superstar will be in action during the tour.
Madison Square Garden has announced that Punk will take on Ludwig Kaiser when the promotion returns for its annual post-Christmas show in the world’s most famous arena. Whether the bout will set up the rumoured match with Gunther three days later in Chicago remains to be seen.

It has also been announced that CM Punk will finally clash with Seth Rollins on the Netflix Raw premiere on January 6th. The pair’s war of words has turned physical in recent weeks, with the two getting into a brawl on the December 16th edition of Raw.
WWE Has Big WrestleMania 41 Plans For CM Punk
After missing out on WrestleMania 40 due to injury, there is reportedly a big match planned for CM Punk at WrestleMania 41. The star is seemingly pegged for a World Title match on the Grandest Stage of them All. Still, the Road to WrestleMania could prove to have several speedbumps, as he isn’t expected to be facing either of the current World Champions, Cody Rhodes or Gunther, for the gold. It’s widely expected that Punk will go after the gold on Raw, so The Ring General may be the one to lose his title before WrestleMania.
