Angel Garza On Andrade – “A Good Rooster Sings Where He Wants”

Andrade & Angel Garza

Angel Garza has paid tribute to his former tag team partner Andrade, after the latter was granted his WWE release, commenting “a good rooster sings where he wants.”

Andrade and Garza began teaming together back in March 2020 and the union would eventually lead to the pair competing for the RAW Tag Team Titles at SummerSlam later in the year. Initially managed by Zelina Vega [Thea Trinidad] the duo would break up in October, with Grarza turning his back on Andrade and Vega.

Following confirmation that Andrade had been allowed to leave WWE, Garza was quick to pay tribute on Twitter posting a series of pictures along with a poetic caption.

It was initially reported that Andrade had asked for his release from WWE on March 12th, although it was later established that this request had been denied.

A few days later, the man himself confirmed the reports and thanked fans for their support. Following a tweet from Andrade suggesting that “good news” was on the way, WWE officially announced his departure on March 21st.

As news of his departure from WWE spread, fans and former colleagues paid tribute to the former NXT Champion, with Thea Trinidad commenting that he was an amazing person.

“Since the moment I met you, I knew that you not only were an amazing person but also one of the most talented in this business and you’d be successful no matter what. I’m so grateful to know you, share these memories and have a brother for life. Love you hermano #TranquiloForLife”

For his part, Andrade thanked Triple H, William Regal and Paul Heyman in his own statement, before paying tribute to Buddy Murphy who had sent well wishes, saying “you are great too they just need to give you the chance.”

It has also been reported that Andrade is not subject to the usual non-compete clause following his release.
