Andrzej Hughes-Murray Makes WWE In-Ring Debut

Andrzej Hughes-Murray has taken his first steps in a WWE ring.

Former college football star Andrzej Hughes-Murray made his in-ring debut at a recent live event. The match took place on August 19th in Tampa, Florida, on a card featuring a number of the biggest names in NXT.

Carmelo Hayes defended his NXT Title against Joe Gacy, while Tiffany Stratton retained the Women’s Title with a win over Valentina Feroz. Meanwhile, Ava — better known as Simone Johnson, daughter of The Rock — won in singles action for the first time.

Who Is Andrzej Hughes-Murray?

Andrzej Hughes-Murray signed with WWE in June but is perhaps best known — at least in the United States — for exploits as a college football star for Oregon State. He ended up signing with the LA Rams as an undrafted free agent before switching to a career inside the squared circle.
