Following the official end of their partnership this past Monday on Raw, Andrade took to Twitter to thank his former manager and friend, Zelina Vega.
The tweet, which was later deleted, caused some controversy though when the star failed to mention or clarify who or what he was thanking and so fans naturally jumped to all sorts of conclusions as to what he really meant.
In order to clear up the confusion, Andrade’s partner, Charlotte Flair sat down at her keyboard in order to defend her beloved’s words and gesture. Though Charlotte’s tweet has also been deleted, she wrote:
“1. He was thanking Zelina. Y’all wild. 2. That said, papi will need a new manager.”
The partnership between Andrade and Zelina Vega began all the way back in NXT, with the fiery Latina leading her charge to the NXT Championship as well as unforgettable bouts against the likes of Drew McIntyre, Aleister Black and Johnny Gargano.
Their partnership came to a definitive end this past Monday on Raw when Zelina was drafted to Friday Night SmackDown and Andrade became a free agent. To conclude their time together, both ate Sister Abigails at the hands of ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt and Alexa Bliss.
Andrade’s tweet has only fueled the speculation that he will return to NXT where he accomplished his greatest achievements.
