BREAKING: Andrade Gone From WWE Only One Year After Return

Andrade El Idolo WWE

Andrade El Idolo has left WWE, as per the latest development.

Former United States Champion Andrade El Idolo is gone from WWE. The star returned to the company on January 27, 2024, and has since had a lackluster run on the main roster. Before this, he spent a few years with AEW after being released from World Wrestling Entertainment in 2021.

Andrade first joined the company in 2015 before breaking out and making a name for himself in 2017 as part of NXT. He is a former NXT Champion, Speed Champion, and United States Champion.

The star has been absent from WWE since Night Two of SummerSlam this year. He was in the Six-Pack Tag Team TLC match, where he teamed up with Rey Fenix to take on The Wyatt Sicks, MCMG, DIY, Street Profits, and Fraxiom, in what was the highlight of the second night.

His whereabouts were a subject of speculation, but hardly anyone had expected him to leave the promotion.

Andrade Is On WWE’s Alumni Page

Former AEW star Andrade has been moved to the alumni section of WWE’s website. He can now be seen on the page beside Ari Sterling. The star’s status can be checked out here.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful also confirmed the news, as he stated that the star was indeed gone from the company.

It comes as nothing but a surprise, as he had only returned in January last year. The star was touted for big things and was potentially hailed by many to be playing a huge role now that the company had also acquired Mexican promotion AAA.

It remains to be seen what the future holds for him.
