Andrade El Idolo Fuels WWE Interest Rumours With Triple H Pose

Andrade El Idolo looks to be having some fun with recent rumours linking him to a WWE return by striking a familiar pose backstage in AEW.

The speculation and rumours around a whole host of wrestlers on the AEW roster refuse to go away. For weeks Malakai Black was at the centre of massive uncertainty as he appeared destined to leave the company, even requesting his release, before later confirming that he is simply taking a break and will return soon.

There had also been suggestions that Buddy Matthews was looking to leave, while it was reported that WWE had also sent out feelers to FTR and Swerve Strickland.

Another former WWE star who has questions about his future is Andrade El Idolo. The Mexican star left WWE in March 2021 before joining AEW three months later.

In a post on social media, the former NXT Champion has dropped a fresh hint that he could be making his way to the AEW exit door. The star posted a short video clip with the caption “FreeElIdolo.” This comes just days after he posted an hourglass emoji.

Now Andrade El Idolo is having more fun with the rumours by striking a familiar DX pose while publicising his services on the Direct Message app.

The rumours could have some foundation to them however as El Idolo has put his AEW career on the line against the mask of Dark Order’s 10 when the two men meet on the October 7th edition of Rampage.
