A planned match set for AEW Rampage featuring Andrade El Idolo has been scrapped.
AEW President Tony Khan has announced that the planned “Career vs. Mask” match between Andrade El Idolo and 10 will now longer be taking place on the October 7th edition of AEW Rampage.
There was no reason given for the cancellation, Khan simply stated on social media that the match was now “off.” Instead Khan said that celebrations of the anniversary of Brodie Lee’s final match will continue with Dark Order challenging Death Triangle for the AEW Trios World Titles.
Friday's bout @Pres10Vance vs @AndradeElIdolo is off.
We'll still celebrate the anniversary of @ThisBrodieLee's final match at #AEWRampage as 10 will get the shot he missed at All Out:World Trios Championship

In recent days Andrade El Idolo has found himself locked in a very public war of words with Sammy Guevara. The former WWE Superstar appeared to spark the controversy in a new interview where he claimed that Guevara has complained about being hit too hard in matches.
The Spanish God then appeared to hit back on social media, branding Andrade a “favour hire” adding “be grateful b*tch.”
Unsurprisingly, Andrade quickly responded saying that he came to Guevara face-to-face over the issue, commenting that he wasn’t scared to get fired. Guevara then fired back once more claiming that Andrade was only hired because his father-in-law is Ric Flair, telling him to go back to WWE as everyone knows he wants to do.
