Andrade has stunned the wrestling world by making his AEW debut, appearing alongside Vickie Guerrero on the post-Double Or Nothing edition of Dynamite!
Early in the show, Vickie Guerrero made her way to the ring to introduce her brand new client – a man who had won championships around the world and a third-generation wrestler who was revealed to be Andrade.
Now going by the name ‘Andrade El Idolo’, the former WWE star introduced himself with a short but effective message by claiming he will become the new face of the company!
“Gracias Vickie, thank you. I used to say I am the face of Latinos but today, I am saying I will be the new face of All Elite Wrestling.”
Shortly after the surprise appearance, Andrade’s fiancée Charlotte Flair seemingly responded to his AEW debut on Twitter with an outpouring of crying and heart emojis:

This marks the 31-year-old’s second televised appearance since his final WWE match in October last year where he lost to Angel Garza. Andrade disappeared from WWE programming following this loss and eventually requested his release from the company in March 2021. The request was initially denied but was later granted on March 21st.
Andrade has already been announced for several matches over the coming months including one against AEW World Champion Kenny Omega for the AAA Mega Championship, a belt Omega will have held for almost two years should he hold it till the scheduled clash between the two at TripleMania XXIX.
