AEW star Andrade El Idolo has admitted that he currently “feels a little stagnant” in the company as rumours swirl about his future.
The future of several AEW stars has been the subject of conjecture in recent weeks with ex-WWE stars in the company under the spotlight with Triple H now in charge of that company.
One of those stars is Andrade El Idolo with the star himself fuelling speculation with his own social media posts.
Now in an interview with Más Luchas Andrade has revealed he feels a little stagnant in AEW and wants more but WWE might not be a destination for him as he calls the promotion’s schedule “inhuman”:
“Right now I feel a little stagnant. I feel like I want more. I feel like although I have a good contract, the schedule is good. I like the schedule because WWE was inhuman, it was quite a lot. People cannot imagine, they think because he is fighting on TV, it is the only time he fights.”
“There are non-televised matches in other cities, other countries. Right now it’s difficult because I want more. I feel like I want more now that RUSH is back. It’s the pressure that we want more.”
Andrade El Idolo’s AEW career will be on the line when he faces Dark Order’s 10 on Rampage in Washington D.C.
