Recently returned WWE Superstar Karrion Kross has criticised his first run on the main roster, calling it “an amputated presentation.”
Karrion Kross and his wife Scarlett made their shocking WWE return on the 5th of August edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Drew McIntyre had been confronting Roman Reigns ahead of their match at Clash at the Castle but a shadowy figure soon interrupted proceedings.
With McIntyre looking back at the entranceway, Kross attacked the Scottish star. Scarlett left her own message for Unified WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns as she left her hourglass in the ring suggesting Reigns’ time is running out.
Kross and Scarlett were released from their WWE contracts back in November 2021 after Kross had spent a short time on the main roster as part of Raw.
Kross’ time on Raw was widely criticised as he was shorn of the personality traits that had made his time on NXT such a success.
Speaking on the After the Bell podcast with Corey Graves, Karrion Kross explained why he thinks the lack of continuity between his NXT presentation and his Raw presentation hurt him:
“The most important thing for me, for my fans, was to be able to create continuity. One of the biggest criticisms of the transition between Kross on NXT and Kross on Raw was that there was no continuity, it was just missing things. It was an amputated presentation.”
