In one of many shocking surprises from IMPACT Wrestling’s Slammiversary, America’s Most Wanted would reunite to celebrate the legacy of tag team wrestling in the promotion!
As was expected, IMPACT Wrestling’s Slammiversary pay-per-view featured a wide array of surprises, recognising the past twenty years of IMPACT and Total Nonstop Action. Among them was the legendary America’s Most Wanted, as Fightful Select had reported prior to the event.
Comprised of ‘The Cowboy’ James Storm and ‘The Wildcat’ Chris Harris, the iconic tandem made their arrival following The Good Brothers’ victory of the World Tag Team Championships over The Briscoes. Storm proceeded to praise the legacy of tag team wrestling in IMPACT, before the three pairings shared a drink together in celebration.

Formed on the second weekly pay-per-view for the then-NWA:TNA, America’s Most Wanted remains one of the most prolific tag teams in IMPACT history with six reigns as NWA World Tag Team Champions. Storm and Harris were also named the 2004 and 2005 Tag Team of the Year by Pro Wrestling Illustrated and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, respectively.
Together, they enjoyed some of IMPACT’s greatest tag team rivalries against Triple X, The Naturals, and Team 3D. Their Steel Cage match with Triple X’s Christopher Daniels and Elix Skipper from the 2004 Turning Point pay-per-view was named that year’s Match of the Year for TNA as well.
Although they officially disbanded in December 2006, America’s Most Wanted first reunited in March 2021. Chris Harris would be on hand to celebrate James Storm’s 1000th match in IMPACT Wrestling, where the former World Champion wrestled Eric Young.
