Amari Miller

Amari Miller left her latest match on NXT 2.0 on a stretcher after sustaining what was later diagnosed as a concussion.

On the March 1st episode of NXT 2.0 Amari Miller squared off against Lash Legend. During the match, which ended in defeat for the star, she suffered a particularly heavy landing which resulted in her leaving the arena on a stretcher.

At the time, the extent of Miller’s injury was unknown, although fans captured footage of her being attended to by medics.

Posting on social media in the hours after the show, Miller thanked fans for their well-wishes. In response, one fan surmised that she couldn’t have sustained a concussion as had been feared, as she was using social media.

Miller replied to the fan confirming that she had indeed been concussed, explaining concussion protocol.

The March 1st episode of NXT 2.0 opened with the huge tag team match between The Dirty Dogs and Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker. Eventually it was the NXT star who grabbed the win, after Ciampa hit Ziggler with the Fairy Tale Ending.

Later in the show, with Ziggler and Ciampa arguing over who should get at a shot at Bron Breakker’s NXT Title, Breakker said that he would beat the pair of them in a Triple Threat match on March 8th.

Elsewhere, Gunther defeated Solo Sikoa, while Harland easily dispatched Draco Anthony. The show also saw the teams of Raquel Gonzalez and Cora Jade, and Dakota Kai and Wendy Choo advance in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

In the main event, Carmelo Hayes successfully defended his NXT North American Championship against Pete Dunne.
