AEW Revolution promised surprises and death defying action, and during the 6-man ladder match to become number one contender for Darby Allin’s TNT Championship it certainly delivered.

With Cody Rhodes, Scorpio Sky, Penta El Zero Meido, Lance Archer and Max Caster already in the ring and ready for action, it was time for the mystery entrant, and out strolled Ethan Page.

In a typically chaotic affair Cody Rhodes was temporarily taken out of the match after being on the receiving end of a Destroyer from Penta on a ladder outside of the ring. Cody would return to action after being escorted away, but would have little success as he ended up being hit with a monster Super-plex from the top of a ladder by Lance Archer which was swiftly followed up with an elbow drop from Max Caster.

It briefly looked as though Archer would claim victory after going on a mid-match tear before he was taken out by a low blow from the debutant. Page in return got taken out with a clothesline from an interfering Jake Roberts.

At the end of a frenetic, hard-hitting contest Scorpio Sky would eventually emerge victorious grabbing the brass ring that was hanging above the ring to earn himself a shot at the AEW TNT Championship.

Ethan Page had been a free agent since leaving IMAPCT following a match with this alter-ego at Hard To Kill.
