Reason Behind Alexa Bliss’ WrestleMania Absence Revealed

Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss was not in Dallas for WrestleMania weekend, and a new report sheds light on the reason why.

Alexa Bliss hasn’t been seen on WWE television since competing inside the Elimination Chamber in the event of the same name in February. That bout was Bliss’ first since September 2021 after being defeated by Charlotte Flair.

In the weeks leading up to Elimination Chamber, the former Raw Women’s Champion returned to WWE television where she appeared in a number of backstage ‘therapy sessions’ in an effort to control her anger.

A recent report revealed that, despite there being an Alexa’s Playground set at WrestleMania Axxess, Bliss was not in Dallas for WrestleMania weekend, which came as somewhat of a surprise since it’s the biggest event of the WWE calendar year.

PWInsider has now confirmed that Bliss’ absence is due to her upcoming wedding to singer Ryan Cabrera. The couple have been engaged since November of 2020 and have been preparing for their wedding, which is set to take place at a secret location in Palm Springs this weekend according to the report. The couple began dating when they were introduced by The Miz in 2019.

In late February, Alexa Bliss held a bachelorette party that was attended by former WWE stars Ember Moon and Nia Jax. The star shared pictures of the event on her Instagram page.

However, Bliss made it clear on social media that this bachelorette party wasn’t the reason she was absent from Monday Night Raw in her hometown of Columbus, OH on February 28th.
