In recent months, Alexa Bliss has found herself in an alliance with Asuka and Bianca Belair on WWE Raw, but that alliance has been tested in recent weeks as teases continue to mount that she’ll go back to her old alliance with Bray Wyatt.
The night after WWE Survivor Series, Bliss appeared distracted as her team celebrated their win inside WarGames, and Wyatt’s moth logo flashed on the screen behind her. Then on December 12th, after becoming the number one contender to Bianca Belair‘s Raw Women’s Championship, Alexa Bliss appeared to go into a trance and nearly hit Belair with Sister Abigail. However, she came to her senses and exited the arena tearfully, shaken by the experience. She later called the night “weird.”
Alexa Bliss Attacked Bianca Belair On WWE Raw
On the December 19th episode of WWE Raw, Byron Saxton interviewed both Alexa Bliss and Bianca Belair about the previous week, asking Bliss what happened. Belair said she had been wondering the same thing since the incident occurred.
Bliss said that she couldn’t necessarily explain what happened last week, but she did begin to talk about her recent journey as a character. She said that everyone thought she was the crazy one, so she went to therapy, but was left a shell of a person. She said, though, that her friendship with Bianca and Asuka helped her realize how strong she is, and that if she has nothing left to lose, she has everything to gain, starting with the Raw Women’s Championship.
Belair didn’t seem to buy the fact that Bliss couldn’t explain her actions from last week and said that she’s seen what Bliss is capable of, and she’s also seen what Bray Wyatt is capable of. Bliss became angry when the conversation turned to Wyatt as she said the conversation should be about her and what she can do. She assured Belair that Wyatt wasn’t a threat to her; instead, Bliss herself is the threat.
Continuing, Bliss reminded Belair that she was winning championships before Belair even walked in the door of WWE, and she would do it again. While the segment appeared to be on course for a peaceful ending, Bliss grabbed a vase and attacked the Raw Women’s Champion from behind, leaving her lying on the floor as Byron Saxton yelled for help.
