Alexa Bliss Sends Message To Fans As WWE Absence Continues

Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss hasn’t competed inside a WWE ring since failing to capture the Raw Women’s Championship from Bianca Belair at the 2023 Royal Rumble.

A March report in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter stated that Bliss was on hiatus, and while she refuted the report, her absence has stretched on for months.

Now, Little Miss Bliss has taken to social media to send a message to her fans, saying hello and that she loves them.

“Just wanted to say Hi & love y’all.”

Bliss was not part of the 2023 edition of the WWE Draft, and there is no word on a timetable for her return to the company. In late March, Bliss revealed that she’d undergone a procedure to remove skin cancer from her face, but she made it clear that the procedure had a short recovery time.

Alexa Bliss Faced Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair At WWE Royal Rumble

At the Royal Rumble in San Antonio, TX, Alexa Bliss faced off against Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair in an attempt to once again carry championship gold. The two had previously faced off on the January 2nd episode of Raw in a bout that ended in disqualification.

For weeks, Bliss had been teasing that she would turn to the dark side and re-join Bray Wyatt, with his moth logo regularly appearing during her segments on Raw. During the championship bout on January 2nd, a masked figure appeared in the crowd and the moth logo appeared once again, causing Bliss to snap and launch a vicious attack on the referee. She also attacked Belair, bloodying the champion by throwing her into both the ring post and steps.

Their Royal Rumble bout once again saw Belair retain her championship, and she’s since surpassed 400 days as Raw Women’s Champion despite being drafted to the SmackDown brand in April.
