Alexa Bliss has opened up about her current WWE contract and her plans for motherhood once she’s no longer an active performer.
In an interview with wrestling enthusiast Maria Menounos on the Better Together YouTube show, Alexa Bliss made some startling revelations about where her future lies when her current WWE contract expires in around three years time.
When asked about her recent engagement to singer and songwriter, Ryan Cabrera, and the possibility of starting a family together, ‘Little Miss Bliss’ said:
“We discussed we would see, you know, once my WWE contract is over, where we’re at. That’s in about three, three and a half years! He’s totally fine with that, like, ‘yeah, I’m good! I just don’t want to be 45 and having my first kid!'”
Alexa’s stance is a sensible and understandable one. Not wanting to be over a certain age when she has her first child but also wanting to see where the rest of her WWE journey takes her is a fine balance, though the likes of Becky Lynch and Nikki and Brie Bella have proven that doing both can work also.
The subject moved on to Bliss’ current storyline in WWE with ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt. When asked about what research went into her new character, the WWE Superstar revealed that she pulled inspiration from a television show she recently watched:
“I was watching The Big Comfy Couch. I re-watched this sing-a-long called Sing A Long With Silly Wen. But she used to wear the pig tales, and so did the girl from the big comfy couch. I’ve just been watching that, and Nick Jr, and I’ve been watching Blues Clues again.”
On the November 16 edition of Monday Night Raw, Alexa Bliss was repackaged with new theme music to accompany that of Bray Wyatt’s.
Though it remains to be seen where the fiendish partnership goes, there has been rumour that WWE are potentially looking at including Bliss in ‘The Fiend’s’ WrestleMania bout, considering an Intergender Tag Team Match for the pair.
