A new report has revealed that Alexa Bliss will soon be taken off TV for an undetermined amount of time.
The Raw star challenged Charlotte Flair for the WWE Raw Women’s Championship at Extreme Rules on September 26th, but was defeated by the ‘Queen’. In the past few weeks Flair has been demanding Alexa return to her old self rather than the black lipstick wearing, demonic ‘Little Miss Bliss’ who has been seen on WWE TV since her encounters with ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt seemed to change her. In an attempt to give Bliss “a wake-up call”, the reigning champion ripped Bliss’ doll ‘Lilly’ to shreds, leaving the ‘Five Feet of Fury’ foaming at the mouth on the entrance ramp.
Speaking after the match, Flair claimed that she had been successful in bringing back the ‘old Alexa’ she had wanted to see.
“The Alexa I faced was the old Alexa. It was the Alexa I saw when she held the Raw Women’s Championship multiple times. [Sunday], she fought me and aced me. Yes, I’m still the Queen, but that’s the Lexi we all want to see. I don’t want to hear about Lilly.”
“Ripping up Lilly was a wakeup call. A wakeup call to remind her that she’s still a champion at heart.”
Now, Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc. has reported that Bliss is set to take a break from appearing on television which could last a few months.
“It is not known how long Bliss will be off of television, but I was told it would be “a few months.”
Whether Alexa Bliss returns as her old self or will continue to torment WWE from her playground remains to be seen.
