Following the stunning WWE return of Bray Wyatt at Extreme Rules, Alexa Bliss has reacted to seeing her “old friend” back in the fold.
Alexa Bliss is seemingly pleased to see Bray Wyatt back in WWE.
The multi-time Women’s Champion tweeted almost immediately after ‘The Eater of Worlds’ made a blockbuster comeback to the company at the conclusion of the 2022 Extreme Rules premium live event. Bliss, last seen together with Wyatt at WrestleMania 37, simply posted, “Hello, old friend”.
Hello, old friend.

Alexa Bliss and Bray Wyatt were aligned for a lengthy period of time on WWE programming throughout the pandemic era. Beginning at The Horror Show At Extreme Rules in July 2020, ‘The Goddess’ became a focal part of the feud between The Fiend and Braun Strowman – her old Mixed Match Challenge partner.
Their partnership saw Alexa transform into her own split personality character, displaying signs of her old bubbly NXT character when with the Firefly Fun House variation of Bray Wyatt, and possessing supernatural powers when around The Fiend.
The duo went their separate ways on night two of WrestleMania 37. Distracting The Fiend, Alexa Bliss allowed Randy Orton – another of Bliss’ rivals during this period who she’d thrown a fireball at – to win the match, ending her association to Wyatt in what marked his penultimate appearance for WWE prior to his July 2021 release.
