On the December 12th episode of WWE Raw, Alexa Bliss faced Bayley in a number one contender’s match for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship. Belair sat ringside for the bout, watching both competitors closely.
After a back and forth battle, Alexa Bliss was victorious, surprising many in the arena with her win over the Damage CTRL leader. Bianca Belair made her way to the ring to show respect for her next contender, raising her title above her head and extending her hand for a handshake. Bliss rejected the handshake and made a move so as to hug the champion, but in a shocking turn of events, she grabbed Belair and put her into position to deliver a Sister Abigail as Bray Wyatt’s moth logo flashed on the screen behind her.
However, just as Bliss was about to deliver the move, she seemed to snap out of a trance, looking shocked that she was holding the champion in that position. She let go of Bianca Belair, apologizing to the shocked champion and appearing confused. She left the ring and made her way out of the arena tearfully, clearly shaken by this turn of events.

Elsewhere on WWE Raw, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley faced off in the main event to determine the number one contender to Austin Theory’s United States Championship. Near the end of the match, Lashley applied the Hurt Lock, but as the two men struggled, the referee was knocked outside of the ring. By the time the official recovered, Seth Rollins was able to pin Lashley following a Pedigree.
Enraged, Lashley got in the referee’s face, and when another official came to attempt to calm the situation, he was knocked out by The Almighty. This brought out WWE authority figure Adam Pearce, who shockingly informed Bobby Lashley that he was fired from WWE as a result of his actions.
