Alexa Bliss Shares Graphic Nose Recovery Photo Folowing Sinus Surgery

Alexa Bliss

An NSFW photo has emerged online of Alexa Bliss as she continues her recovery process after having sinus surgery following Extreme Rules 2021.

The 2021 WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view saw Alexa Bliss unsuccessfully challenge Charlotte Flair for the Raw Women’s Championship, which marked her final match for five months. During this time, the former multi-time Raw and SmackDown Women’s Champion underwent sinus surgery, with her loss to Flair being used to write her off.

Bliss’ recovery has gone well, with an update being posted to her TikTok after Instagram reportedly denied Alexa from posting the photo on their website. Underneath her video, Bliss wrote the following caption (h/t Sportskeeda):

“I’m almost 8 months out from my rhinoplastly, septoasty & valve reconstruction – all to be able to breathe for the first time in YEARS! Recovery wasn’t pretty- but totally worth it 😊 #greenscreen #nosesurgerycheck.”

The TikTok can be viewed here, though it’s not for the faint of heart.

Alexa Bliss eventually returned to WWE programming in January, entering the women’s Elimination Chamber match the following month in Saudi Arabia. She was the last person eliminated from the contest by Bianca Belair, who therefore advanced to challenge Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 38.

The career trajectory of Alexa Bliss has been all over the place following the shock WWE release of Bray Wyatt last July. Bliss had been associated with the former WWE Champion since appearing during his Swamp Fight with Braun Strowman at 2020’s The Horror Show At Extreme Rules event.

Fightful Select reported on 18 April that she had voiced frustration following the Elimination Chamber event. A former three-time Raw Women’s Champion and two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion, Alexa Bliss is also listed internally as Raw’s number two babyface, despite her continuous absence from television.

During her absence, Bliss married musician Ryan Cabrera, with a ceremony on 9 April being attended by numerous WWE and AEW stars.
