Aja Kong Set To Debut For ChocoPro

Legendary Japanese wrestler Aja Kong will step foot in Ichigaya Chocolate Square for the first time tomorrow as she makes her debut at Choco Pro #92.

The Gatoh Move spin off has picked up steam of late, owed in part to its relationship with the AEW Women’s Eliminator tournament.

Thus far, the likes of Hikaru Shida and tournament semi finalist Ryo Mizunami have appeared on the show, alongside ChocoPro regular Mei Suruga and Gatoh Move founder Emi Sakura.

The 50 year old Kong will surely be looking to make a statement following her shock departure from the AEW tournament at the hands of Mizunami this past week.

On the show, which will be streamed for free via the Gatoh Move YouTube channel, Kong will team with Sakura to face the team of Mei and Yuna Mizumori.

The contest offers Mizumori an opportunity to mark her three year wrestling anniversary in style, should she and Mei be able to score a victory over two of Japanese wrestling’s most preeminent talents.

ChocoPro have a busy weekend ahead, kicking off their sixth season with ChocoPro #91 on February 26th, prior to Kong’s debut the following night.

ChocoPro #91 will feature the Best Bros (Mei Suruga and Baliyan Akki) defending their Asia Dream Tag Team Championships against Chie Koishikawa and Hagane Shinno, as well as Yuna Mizumori and SAKI taking on the Pencil Army of Lulu Pencil and Emi Sakura.
