AJ Styles’ WWE RAW Outburst Has Nothing To Do With Triple H; Has Higher Purpose, According To Legend

From the point of view of this WWE legend, AJ Styles’ tirade last week on RAW was for something big and doesn’t have anything to do with Triple H.

Last Monday on WWE Raw, Styles went off in his segment during a commercial break. He lamented how someone took out The Good Brothers (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) and Michin by moving her to SmackDown (as part of his old group, The OC) so that he won’t have help in matches anymore.

The Phenomenal One then went off and claimed that “somebody doesn’t want him” in the WWE. Speculation then swirled that Triple H might have something to do with his recent losses, which was doubled down by his son, who criticized the booking of his father.

On the latest episode of Busted Open Podcast, Bully Ray (aka Bubba Ray Dudley) thought Styles’ promo had a higher purpose and not a knock or a jab towards Triple H. The Hall of Famer believed it had something to do with TNA and a possibility of a final run in his old stomping grounds before retiring, since the company has a partnership with WWE.

If I had a gun to my head and I had to bet a dollar, I would say it has to do something with TNA. I think that there is business that could be done with AJ Styles and TNA since AJ Styles was the face of the place. AJ is the homegrown talent that built TNA. Would love to see AJ be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame,” Bully Ray thought.

Check out the quotes in this clip below:

After his outburst, Styles faced El Grande Americano, the man who cost him the Intercontinental Championship the week before on WWE RAW in Paris. Contrary to his claims that he doesn’t have help in WWE, Dragon Lee appeared out of nowhere to distract Americano, allowing The Phenomenal One to hit the Styles Clash for the win.

Luke Gallows and Michin Responded to AJ Styles Mentioning Them In His Pipebomb on WWE RAW

After having their names brought up by their former OC leader, AJ Styles, Luke Gallows (one-half of The Good Brothers) and Michin shared their different reactions on X (Twitter).

Gallows hilariously replied that there should be a charge for pipebombs, while Michin expressed support for her brother.

It will be interesting to see how this angle plays out over the next couple of weeks as Styles is approaching what could be his final run in wrestling. He has stated that he will hang it up before turning 50.
