AJ Styles has spoken out about his five year anniversary in WWE which the star will celebrate on January 24 2021.

On January 24, 2016, AJ Styles shocked the world when he entered third in the Royal Rumble Match which for the second time in history had the WWE Championship on the line. Though he was eliminated by Kevin Owens on the night in question, Styles would go on to wars with Roman Reigns and Chris Jericho en-route to the WWE Championship.

Five years later, ‘The Phenomenal One’ stands as one of the most decorated stars in the history of the company and still one of the greatest professional wrestlers in the world today.

Now, Styles has joined the cast of Raw Talk to discuss marking his half a decade with the company with an appearance in the 2021 Royal Rumble Match which the star hopes to snag the thirtieth entry and a main event spot at WrestleMania 37 on April 10 and April 11:

“I would love to enter at number 30. Regardless of whether Omos will be in the match or not, we have a plan. And we’re going to be unstoppable.”

Following Styles’ mention of the possibility of Omos being in the bout also, the towering bodyguard confirmed that we may see him step into the ring for the first official time on January 31, twenty seven years after Shawn Michaels’ bodyguard, Diesel, dominated the 1994 elimination spectacular.
