AJ Styles Gives Update On His Wrestling Future In Japan

AJ Styles has shared significant news regarding his wrestling future, suggesting that he may have just wrestled in Japan for the last time.

AJ Styles has a storied history in Japan, where he gained fame as a member of the Bullet Club and captured the IWGP Heavyweight Championship during his tenure with NJPW. Recently, Styles returned to Japan for a series of events, including a crossover match with Pro Wrestling NOAH and WWE’s live event tour last month.

In a new WWE YouTube video Styles hinted at the possibility of this being his final tour in the country. Reflecting on his experiences, Styles explained the significance of wearing a mask during his entrances in Japan:

If you don’t know already, when I’m in Japan, ever since I was with the Bullet Club, I had a mask made for the big shows of the year, and now it’s tradition that I have a mask when I walk out (in Japan). This possibly could be the last one you see on AJ Styles, so let’s get it.

During his recent tour, Styles participated in three WWE house shows in Japan, with his last match featuring a showdown against Shinsuke Nakamura and Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. Before these events, he also faced off against Japanese wrestling legend Naomichi Marufuji at the NOAH Destination event on July 13th.
