AJ Styles could be nearing the end of his in-ring career.
Arguably one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time, AJ Styles is now swiftly approaching the dusk of his career. Making a name for himself at TNA Wrestling and then evolving into a main-event star at NJPW, Styles later joined WWE in 2016 and swiftly rose through the ranks.
A multi-time champion in the promotion, Styles might be inching nearer to the end of his career. At 48 years old, Styles recently appeared at the 2025 SummerSlam kick-off show and dropped a huge career update.
“If I’m being honest with you guys. This might be my last SummerSlam. So, I plan on tearing the house down one last time at SummerSlam for you guys.”

Styles is also scheduled to face Dominik Mysterio for the Intercontinental Championship at the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’.
However, it is unclear if Styles’ contract expires after this SummerSlam, or if he plans on hanging up his boots.
