AJ Styles has reportedly been missing from WWE television due to what is being called a “non-injury medical issue.”
The Phenomenal One has been missing in action lately on Raw with his last appearance coming at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia. At that event Styles teamed with the giant Omos in a losing effort to reclaim the Raw Tag Team Champions against RK-Bro.
Since then Omos has been flying solo and made his presence felt on the most recent episode of Raw when he appeared at the end of the match between The Street Profits and The Dirty Dawgs. The behemoth’s entrance was enough of a distraction for Dolph Ziggler to pick up the victory.
After the bout, Omos dispatched Montez Ford over the ringside barricade before staring down the Raw Tag Team Champions Riddle and Randy Orton who had been providing commentary during the match.
During the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer commented on Styles’ status and shone some light on his recent absence from WWE television:
“AJ’s got a non-injury medical issue is what I was told. I’m sure that he’s gonna yell and scream at some point about it but that is what they said, a non-injury medical issue.”
