Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch crashed SmackDown in the main event. Lynch mocked the fans. CM Punk walked out to confront her. The Visionary was standing on the top of the stairs, far away from the ring. Punk walked out and called Seth Rollins a coward for hiding behind his wife.
Lynch slapped Punk again, which forced him to exit the ring. He stated that he would never lay hands on a woman, but knows someone who would love to take on Becky Lynch.
The crowd was on their feet as ‘Light it up’ echoed in the arena, and AJ Lee made her WWE return after 3800 days. Punk looked on with a proud expression on his face. Lee launched at The Man, who looked terrified.
AJ Lee and CM Punk embraced in the middle of the ring as they grinned from ear to ear. Meanwhile, Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch looked on, shocked from the ramp entrance as they escaped.

AJ Lee’s return was not the only highlight of the night. SmackDown kicked off with Sami Zayn issuing a challenge to John Cena for the US title. An impromptu match was set then and there. During the match, Cena paid tribute to Kurt Angle and Randy Orton, among the many other legends he’s faced in the ring. The bout was interrupted by Brock Lesnar, who F5’d Cena multiple times before walking away.
Backstage, he told Cena he wanted a match for Wrestlepalooza, which WWE made official during the show.
