AJ Lee called up a recently released WWE star while backstage on the recent episode of RAW.
After a decade away from the company, Lee had a lot of catching up to do. Recently, the Black Widow made her return to RAW. Besides setting up her match at WrestlePalooza, Lee caught up with her WWE “daughter” Roxanne Perez, who shared the wholesome reunion on her social media. However, this was not the only reunion that happened that night.

However, Perez is not the only “child” Lee and CM Punk have, as they consider Perez’s friend Cora Jada (aka Elayna Black) as their “daughter” as well. Jade’s absence on the show, however, did not stop Lee from sharing a moment with her, as Lee and Perez called her after their backstage reunion.
The Prodigy shared a screen grab of the call on her Instagram story, which was reposted by Jade as well.
After her WWE release, Cora Jade returned to the independent scene and started using her former ring name of Elayna Black, and found instant success by winning her first singles title of her career; however, she chose to step away from wrestling for the foreseeable future as it was taking a toll on her mental health.
But it seems things have taken a positive turn for Black as she recently shared on her Instagram that she had purchased a new home.
AJ Lee, for her part, has been on a reunion spree; besides the aforementioned meeting with Perez, the former Divas Champion also met with longtime friend Bayley, sharing a picture of the two on Instagram.
While there is no word from Elayna Black on whether she will ever return to wrestling, it is heartwarming to know that the friends she made in the business always have her back.
