AJ Francis and KC Navarro failed to capture the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Slammiversary 2025.
To make matters worse, Francis nearly broke his legs in a highly risky spot during the Fatal 4-Way Ladder match, won by Jeff and Matt Hardy. After getting pushed off the top of a ladder inside the ring, he went through some ladders placed at ringside. He jumped awkwardly and got both his feet stuck between them. While the bump looked scary, it appears that the 35-year-old was unhurt.
As the fans took shots at the former WWE Superstar (fka as Top Dolla), he took this opportunity to give a few of them a piece of his mind.
AJ Francis Claps Back At Fans After Falling Off A Ladder And Nearly Breaking His Legs At TNA Slammiversary
On X/Twitter, a fan wondered how someone would fall feet-first onto a ladder.
The post caught Francis’ attention, who pointed out that he was only trying to save himself from a major injury. However, he also took the opportunity to call a section of the fans “idiots,” claiming that they intentionally miss out on the most obvious details. He also made an NSFW joke in response to another fan.
Why do you idiots pretend you can’t see what I was avoiding? https://t.co/AlmNhtkzMVpic.twitter.com/04TOzzeX1k

Slammiversary was a noteworthy pay-per-view, with almost every match on the show receiving positive feedback from fans. However, the main event was criticized for its finish.
The Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Ladder Match was the penultimate bout on the card. The Hardys won their fourth TNA World Tag Team Championship at the event, dethroning Nic and Ryan Nemeth (The Nemeths) in the process.
