Top-selling female rapper Cardi B hosted the first-ever two-night WWE SummerSlam extravaganza this year. She has been a fan of professional wrestling for a long time and has openly discussed some of her favorite stars in the industry.
One of them is WWE Hall of Famer Edge, who left the sports entertainment capital after wrestling his final match on August 18, 2023. Two months later, he debuted in AEW, where he started wrestling under his real name, Adam Copeland, and later changed to Cope.

When Edge moved on to AEW, surprisingly, he retained his original entrance theme, Alter Bridge’s Metalingus. The iconic song is an emotion to wrestling fans, as the Hall of Famer remains one of the most beloved performers.
On X/Twitter, Cardi B singled out Edge’s entrance theme, calling it the best to her ears. However, she also noted that retired pro wrestler Dave Batista, who is now a sought-after actor in Hollywood, also had one of the best pyro entrances.

In the past, Cardi B has also stated on X/Twitter that Edge and Lita’s romantic angle on WWE TV in the mid-aughts was some of her favorite segments. She called it her favorite era. Even though the rapper loved Lita’s rival Trish Stratus most, she could not help but fall in love with the “se**” a** couple.”
I used to love them….they was such a s**y a** couple …This was truly my wwe era …even tho I was a Trish Stratus girl I used to love this couple,” Cardi B wrote.
After SummerSlam, it remains to be seen in what capacity Cardi B could be featured on WWE TV. The company is known to bring back mainstream celebrities into its product, especially people like the rapper, who are big fans of the sport.
