The award for “ruse of the century,” as WWE put it, goes to Seth Rollins, who is now the World Heavyweight Champion on Monday Night RAW.
At SummerSlam, he cashed in the Money in the Bank contract on CM Punk, who had just defeated Gunther in an epic back-and-forth encounter to win his first WWE World Title in over a decade. Punk’s moment was crushed, and The Visionary appears to have no remorse whatsoever, as he has taken it upon himself to make sure The Second City Saint never has another reign with a top title in the promotion.
Rollins pulled off the unprecedented cash-in by faking an injury since Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12. Since then, he was seen using crutches wherever he was spotted, including his wife’s social media, till he cashed in on an unsuspecting Best in the World. And now, another prominent WWE name was seen using crutches.
Like Seth Rollins, The Miz Was Seen Using Crutches At The Rich Eisen Show
On X/Twitter, The Miz shared a teaser of his upcoming appearance on The Rich Eisen Show. He was seen using crutches, as he pointed out that he would reveal more details about it during the show. He called it “unfortunate news.” However, with the kind of thing Seth Rollins pulled off recently, it is hard to believe anything.
Meanwhile, WWE is reportedly dealing with the ramifications of what the World Heavyweight Champion did to regain the belt at SummerSlam. Nevertheless, we’ll find out what The A-Lister has to say soon.
Tune into the @RichEisenShow today at 12-3pm est on @TheRokuChannel I will be hosting today and have some big unfortunate news will drop,” The Miz wrote on X.

As for Seth Rollins, it was announced on Monday Night RAW this week that he will defend the World Heavyweight Title against CM Punk, LA Knight, and Jey Uso in a Fatal 4-Way Match at WWE Clash in Paris. When the announcement was made, loud chants of “OTC” rained down the arena.
It is not out of the realm of possibility that WWE adds Roman Reigns to the match, as Reigns is the featured star of the upcoming PLE’s poster.
