AEW’s Eddie Kingston Channels Lionel Richie In Hilarious Karaoke Video

Eddie Kingston

AEW star Eddie Kingston is known for his brash, no-nonsense style and sharp tongue when squaring up to his opponents.

However, fans on Chris Jericho’s annual Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea cruise got to see a different side of the New York native when he took to the stage to sing Lionel Richie’s 1983 classic “Hello.”

ROH star Cheeseburger took to social media to share footage of the brawler’s soulful crooning, which unlike the iconic music video did not involve a ceramic head. The star received a huge ovation from the crowd after singing the final “I love you” in the tune.

Eddie Kingston Helped Chris Jericho Say Hello To A Memento From His Past

Elsewhere on the Jericho Cruise, Chris Jericho received a heartwarming gift. As Eddie Kingston, Dan Lambert, and Jericho were conducting an in-ring interview segment, Lambert revealed an incredible surprise.

The American Top Team leader is an avid title belt collector, and he gave Jericho the original WWE Intercontinental Title belt that Jericho first won in 1999. Jericho was incredibly moved by this gift, and according to some in attendance, had tears in his eyes.

While Jericho won his original Intercontinental Title by defeating Chyna at Armageddon, their feud was far from over following Jericho’s win. The two were declared co-champions after conflicting decisions from WWE officials during a rematch. At the 2000 edition of the Royal Rumble, Jericho defeated both Chyna and Hardcore Holly in triple threat action to become the sole Intercontinental Champion. He then went on to become a record-setting nine-time champion.

The antics on the Jericho Cruise also included Chris Jericho teaming with beloved AEW star Danhausen to take on Austin and Colten Gunn. Not only did Jericho team with Danhausen, however, he also donned some very nice, very evil cosplay to match his partner.

Just when it looked like Danhausen may be triumphant, Colten Gunn hit the star with a foreign object, allowing his brother to fall on top of Danhausen for a shocking pinfall victory as he stopped Jericho from intervening.

The crowd in attendance was enraged at the Gunns for cheating to secure the victory, and booed the brothers mercilessly before beginning chants of “What the f***.”
