Dax Harwood Seemingly Defends Sasha Banks

Current ROH and AAA Tag Team Champion Dax Harwood has apparently stood up for Sasha Banks after she and Naomi walked out of WWE Raw.

PWInsider were the first to report that the main event of Monday Night Raw had to be changed when Sasha Banks and Naomi left the arena ahead of the show due to Banks’ frustration over creative plans. The match in question was meant to be a six-pack challenge to determine the next contender for Bianca Belair’s Raw Women’s Championship and was set to feature Sasha Banks, Naomi, Becky Lynch, Nikki ASH, Doudrop, and the recently-returned Asuka.

According to the report, Banks met with Vince McMahon to express her creative concerns, but the WWE Chairman refused to change plans and she made the decision to walk out instead of participating in the match. Her tag team partner Naomi went with her, leading to a segment on the show where Becky Lynch confronted Adam Pearce and the main event was changed to Becky Lynch vs. Asuka, which Asuka eventually won.

Various reports have come to light since with one suggesting that Sasha Banks has had very little sympathy from her colleagues in the WWE locker room.

Current AEW star Dax Harwood has seemingly jumped to Banks’ defence, however, taking to social media to share a picture of the pair and a message of support for The Boss:

“Always, always, ALWAYS stand up for what you believe in. F*cking ALWAYS!!!”

Dax Harwood may currently hold two tag team titles but recently competed in singles action as he attempted to get to the latter stages of the men’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament. Unfortunately for Harwood, Adam Cole got the better of him on Dynamite, ironically making the uber-Bret Hart fan submit in the Sharpshooter.
