AEW World Trios Championship Tournament Bracket Revealed

AEW World Trios Championship Tournament

The bracket for the first ever AEW World Trios Championship Tournament has been revealed.

Back on the July 27th edition of AEW Dynamite it was announced that the first-ever AEW World Trios Champions would be crowned at All Out on September 4th in Chicago.

The bracket for the tournament has now been revealed.

The winners of match one will meet the winners of match two, while the winners of match three will face the winners of match four in the semi-finals.

The tournament is set to begin on August 17th when Andrade El Idolo, Dragon Lee and RUSH square off against The Young Bucks and a mystery partner.

The titles had long been rumoured to be on the way, but President Tony Khan had suggested that he was waiting for Kenny Omega to return from injury before they were launched.

Interestingly, it was recently reported that Omega could be back in action at the event in Chicago.

The report expanded on a line from Dave Meltzer who suggested that AEW were holding off on booking Young Bucks vs. FTR III because there was a “major angle” involving The Bucks in the works. Fightful reported that the rumour is that the angle involves Omega.

Tentative plans that “certain staff” have been made aware of will see Omega team with The Bucks in a six-man tag team match at All Out in September.
