Following a fast and furious bout on Rampage we now know who will face the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega at All Out for the right to be crowned AEW World Trios Champions.
The September 2nd episode of AEW Rampage opened with Hangman Adam Page, John Silver and Alex Reynolds taking on Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor and Trent Beretta in the semi-finals of the AEW World Trios Championship Tournament.
After initially saying that he wouldn’t be involved in the tournament at all, Adam Page stepped in as a replacement for Evil Uno who was attacked by Andrade El Idolo on Dynamite. Page turned down the chance to enter the tournament with the Young Bucks in favour of being in the corner of the Dark Order.
The team of Orange Cassidy and the Best Friends appeared to be on course of the win after Chokeslaming Page through a table, but the Dark Order fought back. Despite the chaos, the win was sealed with a roll-up from Silver on Taylor.
With the victory, Page and the Dark Order booked themselves a meeting with the Young Bucks and Kenny Omega at All Out on September 4th. The latter earned their own spot in the finals with a hard-fought win over United Empire on Dynamite.
In the days after the match United Empire’s Will Ospreay revealed that he is now done with AEW, at least for the foreseeable future.
