The first-ever AEW World Trios Champions have been crowned after a spectacular match at All Out.
Kenny Omega entered looking in tremendous condition, without the compression top and bandaging that he had been sporting ever since his return.
The action was relatively even in the early going as the two teams felt each other out, but the intensity climbed several notches as Hangman Adam Page and Kenny Omega squared off for the first time. Neither man was able to gain a substantial advantage, and that theme was set for the rest of the match with momentum swinging back and forth.
Another meeting in the middle of the ring between Omega and Page saw a number of stunningly stiff strikes exchanged, before Hangman barely kicked out of a Tiger Driver.
The end of the match came with Page attempting to hit a Buckshot Lariat on Omega only for the Elite member to duck, leaving Page to smash Jon Silver. This left the way open for Omega to quickly score the pin.

Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks defeated La Facción Ingobernable, and United Empire to get to the finals. Prior to taking part in the tournament, Omega had been out of action since November with a number of injuries. In Omega’s absence, the Bucks had originally asked Adam Page to be their partner, but he turned them down to be in the corner of the Dark Order.
The introduction of the Trios Championship had been rumoured for a number of months, but AEW President Tony Khan repeatedly said that the titles wouldn’t be introduced until Omega returned to action.
