AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament

AEW have announced that the World Title Eliminator Tournament will begin on Rampage while Malakai Black will meet Cody on a special Saturday night edition of Dynamite.

During the October 16th edition of Dynamite, several huge matches were announced. While the first round match-ups in the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament were also revealed.

The AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament bracket was announced after the show’s main event and features some exciting and interesting matchups. With Orange Cassidy and Powerhouse Hobbs squaring off on Rampage, while Dustin Rhodes meets Bryan Danielson and Lance Archer takes on Eddie Kingston on Dynamite.

It was confirmed that Britt Baker and Anna Jay will clash in a non-title bout on Rampage. The match came to be after Baker and Jay came to blows in a backstage segment.

Also on the show, PAC and Andrade El Idolo go one-on-one for the second time. Their first match in September received rave reviews and saw Andrade emerge victorious after interference from Chavo Guerrero. Upon finding out he won through nefarious means, El Idolo beat up Guerrero and fired him as his manager.

The bracket for the TBS Championship Tournament is also set to be revealed on Rampage.

Meanwhile, the special Saturday night edition of Dynamite on October 23rd will feature the third meeting between Cody Rhodes and Malakai Black.

Black is the only wrestler in AEW to beat Rhodes twice and will be looking to do so again. However, he may have a different version of the American Nightmare after his mentor, Arn Anderson’s recent tough-love version of coaching.
