AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament Brackets Announced

Kenny Omega enters with the AEW World Title

The brackets for the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament have been revealed with the opening match set to take place on the October 22nd edition of Rampage.

The names of the eight men who will compete to earn a shot at the AEW World Title have now been revealed. The list includes former champion Jon Moxley and AEW newcomer Bryan Danielson.

  • 10 vs. Jon Moxley
  • Orange Cassidy vs. Powerhouse Hobbs
  • Dustin Rhodes vs. Bryan Danielson
  • Lance Archer vs. Eddie Kingston.

Cassidy and Hobbs will square off on the upcoming edition of Rampage while Dustin Rhodes vs. Bryan Danielson and Lance Archer vs. Eddie Kingston will take place on Dynamite.

The winner of the tournament will be crowned at AEW Full Gear.

Also on Dynamite, current AEW World Title number one contender “Hangman” Adam Page delivered a highly emotional promo ahead of his showdown with Kenny Omega at Full Gear.

Page said that the original idea for AEW was for it to change the world, but he feels that AEW may have changed him. He added that after failing to win the AEW World Championship he lost confidence, but the people always believed in him.

“Hangman” explained that ‘Cowboy sh*t’ meant never giving up before referencing his recent break to be present for the birth of his son.

Page closed by saying that at Full Gear he’s unsure what the outcome of his match will be, but he promises to give everything, blood, sweat, tears and every fibre of his being. But most importantly, cowboy sh*t.

It has also been announced that on Rampage, PAC will meet Andrade El Idolo, while Britt Baker will take on Anna Jay.

On Dynamite the following night, Cody Rhodes will meet Malakai Black one more time.
