AEW has unveiled the brackets for this year’s highly anticipated Owen Hart Foundation tournaments. The brackets for both the men’s and women’s tournaments were revealed during a special announcement on Wednesday’s Dynamite.
The men’s features the likes of Claudio Castangoli vs. Pac, Bryan Danielson facing Shingo Takagi, Rey Fenix vs. Jay White, and Jeff Jarrett scheduled to confront an unannounced wild card pick. On the other hand, the women’s tournament will feature Willow Nightingale facing Serena Deeb, Nyla Rose taking on Kris Statlander, Deonna Purrazzo vs. Hikaru Shida, and Mariah May facing Saraya.
The culmination of this year’s tournaments is set to take place on the July 10th edition of Dynamite, hosted at the iconic Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The victors of the Owen Hart Foundation tournaments will earn the prestigious opportunity to compete in World Title matches at All In scheduled to take place at Wembley Stadium on August 25th.
The tournament matches kicked off in spectacular fashion on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, with Statlander emerging victorious over Rose to advance, while Pac secured a decisive win against Claudio Castangoli.
