AEW Talent Warned About Future Conduct After Top Star Fined

AEW star Saraya

During the March 15th episode of AEW Dynamite, Saraya tweeted that she had been fined by the company.

The British star said that she had been given an undisclosed penalty for using the word “tw*t” on the show the week before. On that occasion, Ruby Soho cut a fired-up promo about her decision to join forces with fellow Outcasts Saraya and Toni Storm before being joined by the pair.

Since turning heel, Saraya has regularly taken aim at fans during her entrance with insults or flipping her middle finger.

It has now been reported by Fightful Select that Saraya’s tweet was genuine and she was fined for using the insult. The report states that the proceeds from her fine went towards AEW Together projects. There was also a mass email sent out to talent explaining that she’d been fined for using profanity and “using a middle finger without informing the coach of the segment.”

AEW has discouraged talent from flipping off the audience and using body-shaming insults.

AEW Star MJF Courted Controversy At Revolution

AEW World Champion MJF also recently found himself in hot water following an incident with a member of the audience. During his entrance at Revolution, the star took a drink from a woman watching the show and emptied it over her son.

The incident seemingly didn’t go down well with the child or his mother, although he was later pictured backstage meeting Powerhouse Hobbs.

Speaking on his podcast, AEW announcer Jim Ross admitted that the World Champion had gone too far.
