Hulk Hogan’s funeral was attended by AEW and WWE stars.
Many in the wrestling world mourned the shocking passing of Hulk Hogan on July 24 in his residence in Clearwater, Florida. He passed away at the age of 71 due to a heart attack. Fans from around the world paid tribute to the late wrestler, along with wrestlers, whether they were in WWE or not.
Now that The Hulkster was laid to rest, a couple of current names from AEW were present to send off the two-time WWE Hall of Famer for the final time.
It was recently reported that a private funeral service took place on August 5 at the Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park & Funeral Homes in Clearwater, Florida. It was later reported by Fightful’s Jimmy Van that there were some notable attendees at Hulk Hogan’s funeral service, among them were AEW’s Paul Wight and Adam Copeland. Some fans may know them better as Big Show and Edge in WWE, respectively.
The Hulkster’s old friends and former WWE stars like Ric Flair, Jacques Rougeau, and Jim Duggan were present. Outside of wrestling, musician Kid Rock and comedian Theo Von were also present. However, one name that wasn’t named to be in attendance for the service was the Hall of Famer’s daughter, Brooke Hogan.
Also in attendance were Paul Wight, Adam Copeland, and lots of Hogan’s old friends like Ric Flair, Jacques Rougeau and Jim Duggan. Brooke Hogan was not present. https://t.co/75hI17pc6V

AEW Paid Tribute To Hulk Hogan On Collision
Hulk Hogan’s legacy has transcended beyond wrestling and has reached mainstream media, which means that it wasn’t just WWE that acknowledged the death of The Hulkster, but also All Elite Wrestling.
On the July 26 episode, Tony Schiavone acknowledged the death of the two-time WWE Hall of Famer and noted it was he who was responsible for making the sport mainstream in the ’80s and ’90s. The AEW commentator also acknowledged The Hulkster’s family, his wife, Sky Daily, son, Nick, and daughter, Brooke.
You know, sometimes we take a look at these stars that are bigger than life and we forget that they are just like us, human, and we forget they have families that care about them. Our condolences go out to Hulk’s family, his children, Brooke and Nick, his wife Sky, and if you’ve never lost a member of your family, you have no idea what the pain they are going through right now. And believe you me, it is intense. From all of us here at All Elite Wrestling, RIP brother.”
