AEW Stars Suspended Following Incident On Collision

AEW has suspended top tag team FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) following their actions on the 12 April episode of Collision.

During the show, the former tag champs targeted commentator Tony Schiavone, attempting to deliver a spike piledriver before being stopped by Nigel McGuinness. Later that night, FTR defeated 2point0 (Daddy Magic and Cool Hand Ang) but continued their aggressive streak by attacking Daniel Garcia post-match.

Tony Schiavone announced on the latest episode of Dynamite that FTR has been suspended for one week and fined the equivalent of one week’s pay. With their suspension now in effect, FTR will be absent from this week’s Collision. It remains to be seen how the duo will respond once they return.

Which Former AEW Champion Is Reportedly Set To Join WWE Soon?

Former AEW Women’s Champion Mariah May has been reported as being interested in signing with rivals WWE. Dave Meltzer, on an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, elaborated on the reports, stating that he believes that May’s contract with the company could expire in the summer, and if she decides not to renew her deal, she will become a free agent and would be able to discuss terms with WWE.

In recent news, AEW has added four new bouts to the May 8th episode of Collision.
