An AEW star has undergone neck surgery for a second time after complications arose from the original operation.
Taking to social media to provide an update to the fans, Trent Beretta stated the operation was required as two of the screws that were a part of his first surgery broke and needed to be replaced:
quick little american neck surgery. turns out I wrestled so hard that two of the screws from my neck fusion broke. very cool. very tough. screws have been replaced. next I will be doing revenge.

Beretta last competed at Double or Nothing in a losing effort to Orange Cassidy following on from his heel turn that saw the implosion of The Best Friends. Beretta was later attacked by Cassidy with a wrench on the July 13th edition of Collision to write him off of TV due to injury.
