A top AEW star has announced the final pro-wrestling contract of his career.
Spanning a career over three decades, the current Director of Business Development, Jeff Jarrett, has announced a piece of shocking news for his fans. Appearing on the January 1st episode of Dynamite Fight for the Fallen, Jarrett revealed his wrestling future.
Appearing in front of the Asheville, North Carolina crowd, ‘The Last Outlaw’ announced his final pro-wrestling contract signing. Jeff Jarrett stated that re-signed with the Jacksonville-based promotion and wants to win another World Championship in his career’s final run.
Aiming for the top, Jarrett even went one step further and entered himself into the Casino Battle Royale next week, which will have Jay White enter as the first participant. At 57 years old, Jarrett is steadily moving toward the dusk of his career, Double J wants to conclude his career with a World title win, and not just a Trios title.
Throughout the promo, Jarrett reflected on his eventful career, including founding TNA and his early years as a wrestler. However, his nostalgic memories soon turned into a fast-paced segment highlighting the last few years/months of his career, and his desire to win a World Championship.
The WWE Hall of Famer was joined by his wife Karen Jarrett backstage before he headed out to make the announcement.
An official update on the length and details of Jarrett’s agreement remains unreleased.
He last wrestled at AEW Worlds End, defeating QT Marshall during the Zero Hour pre-show.
