A current AEW star isn’t exactly following the footsteps of Cody Rhodes, but he does make a similar bold choice when it comes to his body.
From skateboarding to the squared circle, Darby Allin has always been a risk-taker in every element of his life. The former multi-time TNT Champion has given the world another example of that with the new ink he’s just received. Allin has been building upon a tattoo he’s been working on the left side of his body and he continued it by having that tattoo go up across the back of his head.

Details Behind The AEW Star’s New Tattoo
According to TMZ (and Darby Allin’s Instagram) the master of The Coffin Drop got his new ink done by Caleb Morgan out of Atlanta, who judging by his Instagram is extremely well-versed in large and intricate work when it comes to tattoo design. Allin first began detail on this body project back in 2020 when he was getting sleeve work done. Cody Rhodes received plenty of feedback for the “Nightmare Family” ink he got done on his neck and who knows if Allin is completely done?
Allin was just seen last night on “AEW Dynamite” when pro wrestling’s modern daredevil, along with Sting, made the save for Orange Cassidy. Cassidy successfully defended his AEW International Championship when he defeated Swerve Strickland in singles action, but “Freshly Squeezed” was ambushed by Strickland’s Mogul Embassy. Allin’s mentor made his return to AEW just a week before and while Sting may don facepaint, it’s unknown if the Icon is sporting any new ink since his absence.
