On the October 18th edition of AEW Dynamite Jon Moxley put the World Championship on the line against Hangman Adam Page. The bout was a typically hard-hitting affair but came to a premature end via referee stoppage after Page suffered a concussion.

However, after a few weeks on the side-lines Page returned to television brawling with Moxley all over the ringside area. On the December 7th episode of Dynamite Moxley appeared backstage calling out Hangman for a fight. On the following episode of Rampage, AEW’s resident cowboy duly obliged.

Hangman Adam Page Confronts Jon Moxley On AEW Rampage

On Rampage Moxley went to war with Konosuke Takeshita in a bloody contest, eventually scoring the win. Not that the former World Champion had long to celebrate. As soon as the final bell rang, Adam Page made his way to the ring and got straight in the face of his rival. Page said that he wasn’t cleared to compete before attacking Moxley.

“You know, Doc Sampson over there won’t clear me to wrestle because of my brain. So I guess, I’ve got a pretty good excuse, if I’m not thinking straight tonight.”

During the brawl Moxley threw Page into the ring post before being pulled away by Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta. As the trio headed back up the ramp Page played up his concussion appearing disorientated and unsteady on his feet.

At time of writing it is unknown when Hangman Adam Page will return to the ring.
