AEW Star MJF Makes Major Admission About Married Life Days After Saying “I Do”

AEW star MJF had another fiery promo on Dynamite.

After tying the knot with fellow talent, AEW star MJF disclosed a major confession about his married life in a fiery segment.

MJF and interviewer Alicia Atout exchanged vows on September 5 after being in a relationship since November 2023. A lot of AEW personalities and wrestlers were in attendance, such as President & CEO Tony Khan, TAZ, Daniel Garcia, Darby Allin, Sammy Guevara, Thunder Rosa, Amanda Huber, and MJF’s rival, Hangman Page, among others.

However, The Salt of the Earth had no plans for a honeymoon and proceeded to cost Mark Briscoe his match against Konosuke Takeshita last Saturday on Collision. He then allowed The Sussex County Chicken to choose the match, stipulation, time, and place, which will eventually take place at All Out in Toronto, Canada.

This week on Dynamite, MJF had yet another fiery segment addressing his recent marriage and displayed his hatred towards Briscoe, as usual. He then revealed that he postponed his honeymoon with Atout until his rival was “dead.”

The former AEW World Champion was warned by his wife that if he left, their marriage would be over. He then proceeded to launch a tirade and said he’s married to the game, to the hate, and to the vengeance, long before he tied the knot with someone.

“[My wife] said if you leave out that door, we’re done. I said YOU SILLY LITTLE B*TCH I WAS MARRIED WAY BEFORE I MET YOU”

MJF ended the promo by exclaiming he’s ready for whatever Briscoe chooses as the stipulation for their match on September 20th in Toronto, and his answer will be “I Do.”

MJF Was Recently Added As A Cast Member of An Upcoming Film

Violent Night 2 will star David Harbour as Santa Claus. It will be released in theaters in the United States on December 4, 2026, and cast members also include Daniela Melchior, Kristen Bell, Jared Harris, and Joe Pantoliano.

In a new update, MJF and Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor are now included in the Christmas action comedy film for Universal Pictures and 87North. The Salt of the Earth has started filming on September 7 in Winnipeg.

This is not the first time that the former AEW World Champion has been cast in movies. He also had a role in The Iron Claw (2023) and Happy Gilmore 2 (2025).
