AEW Star Makes Surprise Face Turn On Dynamite

We have a new babyface in AEW!

On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite anniversary special, Jay Lethal squared off against Darby Allin. It was a highly-contested match, but in the end, Allin would get the victory. However, it’s what happened after the match that has fans talking.

At the end of the match, Allin offered a handshake to Lethal, and as we’ve seen in the past, that isn’t necessarily the nature of Lethal.

Originally, Lethal was showing resistance to Allin’s handshake offering, and his manager Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh were at the entrance stage encouraging Lethal not to shake Allin’s hand. With the tension thickening, Allin pushed Lethal, forcing him to eventually crack and shake hands.

Earlier this year, Lethal would team up with Dutt and Singh to form a heel faction, and they’ve been involved in a lot of chaos since joining forces, including dismantling Wardlow and slamming him through a table after Lethal would lose a TNT Championship match to him at Battle of the Belts III.

Now, it appears that Jay Lethal could be having a change of heart, turning from heel to babyface, which could potentially create some problems between Lethal, Dutt and Singh.
