AEW Star Jay White Confirms Injury Status

Jay White makes AEW in-ring debut on Dynamite

Jay White has opened up on his injury status.

Last year, on the 2nd October episode of Dynamite, fans witnessed Jay White make his long-awaited return after recovering from an injury. However, a few months later, White again had to be ruled out with another injury.

While previously declaring himself for the Men’s Owen Hart foundation cup tournament, White was later pulled out of it. A kayfabe attack by The Death Riders was performed to put White out of action.

Earlier tonight on the 5th April episode of Collision, Jay White appeared in a backstage interview and revealed his injury status. Nursing a broken hand, he was removed from the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament.

While the former NJPW star was moved out of the tournament, newly recruited star Kevin Knight was named as his replacement. In the next few hours, fans will witness Will Ospreay take on Kevin Knight at the Dynasty PPV.

However, it is still unknown when White will return to the ring.

We at Inside The Ropes wish Jay White a fast and steady recovery.

Long-Running AEW Special Set To Return

During the 5th April episode of Collision, the promotion announced a four-hour special ‘Fyter Fest’ episode combining Dynamite and Collision, scheduled to air on Wednesday, June 4. Fyter Fest will take place in Denver, Colorado, at the Ball Arena.

Since its inception in 2019, Fyter Fest has taken place every year except 2024.

In other news: Cody Rhodes has opened up on the bittersweet aspect of his upcoming WrestleMania 41 match.

Unfortunately, another AEW star has suffered an injury.
